GLUB WAS RIGHT!

Major empires tend to last approximately 250 years (or ten generations) before collapsing into decadence and weakness.

Sunday, June 14 was Flag Day. Trump’s 80th birthday. And the birthday of the U.S. Army. But it’s not the Army’s 250th anniversary. That was last year.

Before there was a nation, there was an Army. Outnumbered, under armed,
sick, hungry and often shoeless. Fighting for a nation, that did not yet exist.

And if not for them, never would. That is why I proudly proclaim, I am a Soldier. Happy 251st birthday Army!

But it saddens me to see how misused and abused our Army and all our military are today. Obviously, this is nothing new. And a story as old as David in Bible, having a brave soldier sacrificed because he coveted the soldier’s wife:

Put Uriah at the front of the fiercest battle; then withdraw from him, so that he may be struck down and killed. -Samuel 11:15
